As I’ve said before, I have a single coming out on Wednesday, July 16. It’s available for pre-order right now for only $3 at shop.josh-kaplan.com. You should all go order it because I’ve put a lot of effort into it.

I’m in the production stage of a music video for Good Choice. It’ll be quite good, I promise.

The full album is guaranteed going to come out on August, 25th NO JOKE. I’ll have it up for pre-order within the next couple of weeks.

So guess what, everybody? I recorded a new song.

It’s called “There’s Gotta Be” and it’s probably one of my best. My singing sucks on it, but I’m working on improving for the album. This should give you an idea of what the album is going to sound like, though.

I forgot to post this when it actually happened, so I’m doing it now instead.

I participated in the talent show at my school a couple of weeks ago and got some awesome video of myself and my band out of it. Unfortunately, the yearbook people were walking all around in front of where the camera was, so stuff gets blocked every so often.

Coming Very Soon: “Down is the new Up.”

I am really excited to announce today that my debut LP, “Down is the new up.” [sic] is coming out very very soon. By that, I mean later this week.

I’m not sure exactly what day yet, but before the weekend is out. It will be available for download and purchase from CD Baby and iTunes shortly after it has been released, or if you want it sooner, I will have a download system set up where you send me $5 on PayPal and I send you your private link to download the CD, a la Nine Inch Nails.

As much as I’d love to show you some art from the cover, I’m still waiting on the art to be finished by the fine artist Joe Kalicki.

Each purchase will come with a PDF album book for free.

I’m looking forward to releasing this CD and hopefully playing some shows around town soon.

Very little.
So little, that I am revoking any promises about when it will come out. I really have no idea when it come out.
I have a slight obsession with constantly rewriting the instrumental or songs, causing it to take a really long time to release anything. Hopefully, I’ll be able to release a new song soon, but no guarantees.

On a side note: Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd is quite awesome. 9/10
